As Valentine’s Day approaches, the air is filled with love, romance, and the sweet aroma of yummy candies. 

If you’re trying to figure out what to give to a special person, or maybe even just buy for yourself, I’ve got you! I know I always treat myself to some every year. 

To help you find your faves, I asked many students around campus and gathered the ultimate top 5 Valentine’s candy choices. From luxurious chocolates to playful peeps, these tasty treats are sure to make your heart skip a beat.

1. Ghirardelli Strawberry Bark: The Special Edition Delight

Taking the crown in the chocolate category is the one and only Ghirardelli Strawberry Bark. Susan Googe (10th) shared her love for this special confection: “The combination of the rich chocolate and sweet strawberries is literally just like a chocolate-covered strawberry but in square form.” This limited-time treat will surely add that little burst of romance to your day. 

2. Lindt, Ferrero Rocher, Dove and Russell Stover: Luxurious Love

Aniston Fisher (10th) shared her love for the classic heart-shaped box of Rusell Stovers, while Shelby Morris (10th) prefers the smoothness of Lindt and the decadence of Ferrero.
