On the nights of September 25th and 26th more than 20,000 people gathered to see Drake & 21 Savage perform with Central Cee, Zack Bia and Kai Cenat as the opening acts.

From “Started from the bottom” all the way to the top of the State Farm Arena, Champagne Papi made a two-night stop right here in ATL.

“It’s All a Blur” was the perfect way to describe the concert. The night left everyone stunned and walking out of the venue with a sense of awe and wonder, wondering, “What just happened?”

Atlanta, known as the center of the rap universe, proved to be the ideal backdrop for this unforgettable performance. Throughout the concert, Drake, a true rap icon, expressed his deep appreciation for the city that birthed some of the greatest rappers of all time and played a pivotal role in his own career.

Not only did he bring his A-game, but on the first night of the concert, he achieved the No. 1 song in the country with his song “Slime you out,” which he indeed did perform AMAZINGLY on this tour.

I had the opportunity to talk to Elle Albert (10) and Owen Hahn (9) about their experiences at this concert.

When asked what he was most excited for Owen eagerly responded, “The anticipation and energy in the crowd when he was about to come on. Everyone was super hyped.” Elle found the highlight of the concert to be the surprise performance of “Pipe Down.” The fact that it was a song Drake hadn’t performed before made it all the more special for her.

Both reflected on their favorite songs. Owen didn’t hesitate to mention “Runnin.” It’s clear that this track left a lasting impression, resonating deeply with him. Elle’s favorite track of the night was “Spin Bout You,” which she described as “top tier” and exceptionally good. It’s clear that the music selection left a lasting impression.

Owen and Elle attended the concert on a Tuesday, a night that turned out to be full of surprises. The biggest shock for Owen was when Drake played some of his OG tracks, taking fans on a trip down memory lane. It was unexpected but undoubtedly a highlight of the show.

As for attire and planning, Owen kept it simple. He mentioned that there were no strict dress code rules, and people wore whatever they wanted. It made planning his outfit a breeze. Similarly, Elle’s outfit planning was straightforward. She wore cargo jeans and a Skims jersey top, a comfortable yet stylish choice that was in line with what many others wore.

In terms of food, Owen didn’t eat before or after the concert. His excitement was all-consuming, leaving no room for hunger. Food also wasn’t a priority for Elle that night, as the excitement of the concert took precedence over everything else.

Owen watched the concert from the nosebleed seats, but it didn’t dampen his experience. The music and atmosphere were enough to make it an unforgettable night. Elle had floor seats, which allowed her to be close to the action and truly immerse herself in the performance. She managed to secure her tickets the day of the concert through Ticketmaster.

Summing up his experience, he simply described it as “fun.” Describing her experience, Elle rated it a perfect 10 out of 10. “It was life-changing,” she said. “I need to go back. It was a night that couldn’t be replaced by anything else and undoubtedly the best moment of my life.”

Drake’s “It’s All a Blur” tour in Atlanta was a night to remember. Both Owen and Elle had their unique experiences, but they shared the sentiment that it was a night full of surprises, incredible music, and unforgettable memories. With Atlanta’s rich rap history and Drake’s deep connection to the city, this concert for sure lived up to the hype.
